New Year, New Adventures

Well Hello,

I have always been told that I should write my story. That enough things happen to my life that I should write it down. Now, I know that people hear that every day, are told that every day, whatever. But really, as I share my stories, adventures, or whatever, this is one thing that I continually hear. So here we go.

I have two other blogs. One for second grade and the other for second grade religion. Okay, why? I never have time to update them because, well, there are two separate blogs. So, if I feel like I should share the absolutely amazing whatnots my kids are doing, then you, my dear readers, will hear it. Downsizing. That is what I plan on doing this year for one of my many "resolutions".

New Year Resolution. I don't think I have ever kept one. I will eat healthier, nope I really really enjoy my pizza and beer. I will be more patient, I don't' think I can be more patient then I am now. I will do this, or that. Yeah, no. This year my resolution will be: Live Life Simple. Don't Change Who I Am. Don't Do Things That Are Not Me. Woah! That was simple and easy.

This year has been a whirlwind. A lot has happened.

For those of you who don't  want to read about all of that above here is a video instead.

- I met the love of my life at the very end of last year. We started dating. We are now engaged, but don't worry! We are not getting married until 2015 (Woah that was close, didn't want to rush anything right??)
- My dog and Tony's dog are new best friends. They have to go everywhere together.
- I traveled. I went to New Orleans, New York, Nebraska, Rhode Island, Michigan, Indiana, St. Thomas, St. John, Austin, San Antonio, Indian and Michigan again, Ft. Worth (hey 60 minutes is definitely considered traveling), back to Lubbock, and I am probably forgetting some.
- My dad moved as far up north as I can possibly think. He has three horses, one on the way, a fainting goat, more cats and dogs than we can think. Him moving up north allows me to live my country girl life outside of the city. Shocking right? I can ride horses, help in the barn, wear my cowboy boots every day, and just have a quiet life.
- I am teaching second grade again this year. I have 26 kids in my class, 16 girls and 10 boys. This is a handful.
- I have created a new company called Lux Wreaths where I make custom wreaths. I just so happened to open it, however, at the end of Christmas so we will see how this upcoming year will go.

Okay, I'm done boring you with what all I have done this year in life. Just expect that this upcoming year will be an amazing, extraordinary, outside the box, exceptional year. Full of laughter, love, color, sparkles, bedazzle, dogs, and maybe a little trouble here or there.

Until then,
